One Church, One Family, One Service
Beginning on February 5, 2023 the Corry First Family will worship together during a worship service at 10:00 AM each Sunday morning. The “blended” service will include modern and traditional music, prayer and praise and a message by Pastor Han. For those who would like to attend Sunday School, please join our Children’s and Adult classes at 9:00 AM. Following the worship service, you are invited to get to know us during a brief social time. We’d love to have you join us this Sunday!

Service Time Changes Begin February 5
Beginning February 5, we will combine our worship to one blended service.Sunday School will be at 9:00 am; Worship at 10:00am in the Sanctuaryfollowed by Fellowship in the lobby.Children’s Church will be offered to children ages Kindergarten through 5thgrade during our Worship time. Parents and Grandparents are encouraged tobring your children, grandchildren and their friends to be a part of theChildren’s Church. The children can be dropped off to the classroom in theEducation Wing prior to the Worship service.

Combined Worship Dinner
Combined Worship/Dinner/Everybody’s Birthday Party: On Sunday, January 29th we will have Sunday School at 9am, combined worship at 10 am, and followed by a pot luck dinner with cake, desserts, and beverage provided. (Please bring a dish to pass)

Thursday Night Bible Study
New Thursday Night Study: “The Chosen”, the first multi-season TV series about the life of Christ, is coming to Corry First in 2023! “The Chosen” portrays Jesus through the eyes of those who met him. Join us on Thursday nights beginning January 5th in the Family Life Center at 6:30 pm and bring a friend! We will watch one episode each week, and then break into small groups to discuss the Bible passages on which the episode is based as we seek to answer the question, “What does it mean to be chosen?” The Chosen small group will meet through April and is open to members of the community.

Peru Mission Trip
Peru Trip: The Pasteriks will be leading a Mission Trip to Peru in June 2023. Please begin praying now to see if God is calling you to be part of the team. There will be an informational meeting in January for those who may be interested in exploring the possibility of going. Once the team is assembled, they will be meeting regularly to pray and prepare for the trip. The dates will be decided according to the availability of the team. More information will be coming in January.

Olympian Training
Olympian Training: Training sessions for volunteers will be on Monday evenings – December 5 & 12th at 6:30pm. Please contact Ashley Sandberg and fill out the volunteer form and return to her.

Grief Class
Grieving Class: As the holidays are just around the corner, we know how hard they are for those of you who have lost a loved one. We would like to offer a class for those who are dealing with grief from loss. The class will be given by Jean Thompson from East Springfield, Ohio. Please contact the church office for a contact number if interested.
