Farewell for Sarah King… Please join us on Sunday, September 11th between our services (10am) to give your well wishes for Sarah and her family as she continues to follow the Lord’s leading in her life for her next steps to further His kingdom!

Newcomers Class will begin this fall.  Beginning September 18 (NOTE DATE CHANGE) during the Sunday School hour from 10:10 – 11 am in the Pastor’s office.  Pastor will lead the class and welcomes all newcomers that want to join Corry First and those that wish to have their faith confirmed.

We had a great week of VBS on the Rocky Railway. Thanks to the volunteers who helped to provide the experience for our kids.

You may have been hearing talk and concern about the division in our denomination and where our church may be headed in the future.  Ron Renfroe, President of Good New Magazine, shares six videos about the United Methodist church and the departure of theologically conservative congregations and clergy.

We are partnering with our missionaries, Jonathan and Corinne Long, who are taking van loads of food into Ukraine and also feeding those who make it safely across the border with Hungary.  It costs $4000 to fill a van each day.  Corry First would like to fill a van or hopefully two.  Would you help us meet that goal?  Please mark checks, offering envelopes and online giving with the word “Ukraine”, or place offerings in the blue and yellow box in the foyer.  As always, continue to pray for those who are serving on the border and for the Ukrainians fighting for their freedom.

Young Women’s Discipleship will meet Saturday at 6:00 PM

If you would like to purchase a brick for the Prayer Garden, order sheets and info are available on the table in the main lobby. Orders must be placed by April 1.

Summer Camp:  Calling all Children and Youth – we are getting ready to help you go to Summer Camp.  Brochures are located in the Lobby for Wesley Woods and Miracle Mountain Ranch.  (Wesley Woods currently has a $50 discount until the end of February.)  Our church has scholarship funds available to all campers.  For more information, contact Megan Kennedy via email: mmkennedy806@gmail.com .  Many thanks to our church family for your support.  Please continue to support the camping ministry!

Combined Service:    We will have a combined Family Sunday service – “New Year – New Life” on Sunday, January 30th at 10:00am.  Following our service, the Youth will have a Soup ‘n Salad Fundraiser. Infant Dedication: We will be having a time of baby dedication to the Lord during our combined service on January 30th, in which parents will make a commitment before the Lord and our church family to raise their child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. If you have an infant (up to age 2) that you would like to be included in this ceremony of dedication, please contact the church office or Pastor Duk Hee.
